Since Summer 2011 DB SCHENKER Logistics has bundled all railway suited transports within its affiliate TRANSA Spedition GmbH. All full load rail activities which were managed by Schenker Germany with the products DB SCHENKERhangartner and DB SCHENKERrailog in the past are going to be consolidated and further developed by TRANSA.

This opens exciting new opportunities for our customers here at TRANSA. We offer reasonable alternatives to truck transport by focusing on the combined transport on rail and road, integrated railroad solutions and multi modal transport. This allows us to offer our customers in industry and retail even more transparency and cost effectiveness, as well as environmentally friendly logistics solutions by incorporating railway transport. We are fiercely committed to CO2 reduction and thus strengthen the competitive capability of our customers.

In each case we will individually determine the perfect combination of rail and road and identify where the rail plays to its own strength and where to sensibly use transport by road.
